Growing up, Captain Dave, his brother, and his Mom spent the summers in their condo in Ocean City. Captain Dave and his brother kept themselves busy by fishing every day throughout the summer months. The Fletchers spent all summer fishing from 1978 until 1988 when Captain Dave when to college, attending George Washington University. Yet, the summer months brought the Captain right back to the beach where he continued fishing and crabbing throughout the summers.

From drifting the channels of Assawoman Bay for flounder to fishing structures near the Ocean City Inlet or targeting bluefish along the bridge, Captain Dave uses his years of OC fishing in order to tailor each trip based on tides, weather, and seasonal patterns, ensuring a top-notch experience with his Ocean City guide service.

As previously mentioned, Captain Dave grew up fishing the waters of the Eastern Shore and has spent decades mastering the tides, structures, and seasonal patterns that make Ocean City such a thriving fishery. However, before focusing on guiding, he competed as a professional bass angler in bass tournaments with the B.A.S.S., RedMan, and FLW circuits. Those years of competition honed his skills in locating fish, adapting to changing conditions, and assisting anglers in maximizing their time on the water.
