Welcome aboard Nanticoke Outfitters Charter Fishing, a locally owned and operated Ocean City fishing charter dedicated to providing relaxed, productive, and family-friendly fishing experiences on Maryland’s coast.

The 2026 season marks our fourth year chartering out of Ocean City, but our roots on these waters run much deeper. At the helm is USCG Master Captain David Fletcher, a lifelong fisherman with over 40 years of experience fishing the Ocean City area. A former professional bass angler, Captain Dave transitioned from competitive bass tournaments to saltwater guiding, bringing a disciplined, detail-oriented approach to every trip.

Whether you’re visiting Ocean City for a beach vacation or planning a dedicated fishing trip, our goal is simple: put you on fish while making sure everyone aboard has a great time.

At Nanticoke Outfitters, we believe the best fishing charters are built around the people on board. Our trips are designed to be laid-back, educational, and enjoyable, making them perfect for families, kids, beginners, and experienced anglers alike.

We specialize in back bay and nearshore fishing in Ocean City, MD, targeting seasonal species such as:

Our charter operates out of the Ocean City Fishing Center in West Ocean City, giving us quick access to Assawoman Bay, the Ocean City Inlet, and productive nearshore waters.

Our boat is outfitted with top-of-the-line rods, reels, modern electronics, and required safety equipment, so you can focus on fishing while we handle the details. Whether you’re casting, jigging, or bottom fishing, you’ll be fishing comfortably with gear that’s properly maintained and ready to perform.

Fishing isn’t just our business — it’s a way of life. Captain Dave is on the water constantly, staying dialed in to local conditions, fish movements, and seasonal trends. That firsthand knowledge directly translates into better fishing and a smoother experience for our guests.
